Christofer C. Ashby, PhD, MBA and Chairman of The Ashby Windward Foundation, graduated from California State University at Fullerton with an undergraduate degree in Music. He has multiple graduate degrees including Masters and Doctoral degrees from The University of Southern California, where he attended under full scholarship, and a Masters in Business Administration from The University of Warwick in the United Kingdom. He completed post-doctoral research as a Fulbright Scholar in Seville, Spain.
He is over 25 years of experience in structured finance, mergers & acquisitions and business development in the telecommunication, banking, shipping and insurance sectors. He has been a keynote speaker at The Economist Intelligent Unit, European Venture Capital Association and The Central European Bankers Forum.
Dr. Ashby’s special interests include aviation where he holds multiple fixed wing and rotorcraft ratings, languages, yoga, boating, and the improvement of the healthcare system on the islands of Carriacou and Petite Martinique.
Hansel Ashby MD FACEP, graduated from Occidental College with an undergraduate degree in Biology. He continued his graduate studies at Georgetown University where he obtained a Masters Degree in Biophysics and Medical Degree in 1990. Dr. Ashby completed his medical education at the University of California at Irvine Medical Center after serving a post-graduate residency program in Emergency Medicine. Dr Ashby has been practicing Emergency Medicine with Idaho Emergency Physicians in Boise, Idaho since 1995 where he is the Director of Emergency medicine at Elmore Medical Center. Dr Ashby’s medical interests include Advanced Trauma Life Support Education and Rural and International Emergency medicine.
Laurie Ashby MD, graduated from The University of Scranton with a undergraduate degree in Biology and an MS in Physiology and Biophysics from Georgetown University. Dr. Ashby obtained her Medical Degree from Georgetown in 1991 and completed a residency at UCLA/St. Mary Medical Center in Internal Medicine in 1995. She also served as Chief Resident in the Department of Internal Medicine during her final year and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Ashby has been involved in various community service organizations including the Junior League of Boise where she was one of the founding members of the Especially Me self-esteem program for young girls. She is a volunteer at both her children's school and church.
