Student Liaisons

 

Kyle Ashby

 

Kyle Ashby, a student at Bishop Kelly High School in Boise, Idaho has served as student liaison to the Ashby Windward Foundation since 2009. She is co-founder of our sister organization, Friends Through Books, which supplies reading supplies, educational materials and special needs assistance to students on the islands of Carriacou and Petite Martinique in the southern Caribbean. In addition to her volunteer activities Kyle enjoys volleyball, travel, reading and is an active member the Bishop Kelly Key Club. She also serves as a student liaison to the Berman Harviel Miller Foundation which supplies free bicycle helmets to low income and refugee students in Boise, Idaho. She plans to pursue a career in forensics or law.
Graham Ashby is currently a student at Bishop Kelly High School in Boise, Idaho. Along with her sister Kyle, she has served as student liaison for the Ashby Windward Foundation since 2009. She is the co-founder of Friends Through Books which to date has supplied thousands of books and school supplies to the students of Carriacou. In addition, Friends Through Books has raised money to provide eye surgery for a young boy on Carriacou and to repair a failed septic tank at an elementary school. Along with her volunteer work Graham enjoys travelling, tennis, reading and volunteering with the Bishop Kelly Key Club. She is also a student liaison to the Berman Harviel Miller Foundation which provides free bicycle helmets to refugee youth in the Boise, Idaho area. As a result of her experience with the Ashby Windward Foundation and Friends Through Books, she plans to pursue a career in Medicine and focus on International Health.
