Friends Through Books Mission
Friends Through Books, an affiliate of the Ashby Windward Foundation, is a non-profit organization which exists solely to provide reading books and educational materials to the students of Carriacou and Petite Martinique which are two of the three islands that make up the island nation of Grenada in the southern caribbean. Developed by Graham and Kyle Ashby in 2009, it is our goal to improve the school libraries in these islands while providing students the ability to experience the joys of reading. In the process we hope to develop longstanding penpal friendships between the students in the islands and those in the US who generously donate their books.
